Vancouver – Lux at Caprice | acfong: hello.goodbye.go.eat

I went to Lux at Caprice for dine out Vancouver. Lux is located right next to Caprice Nightclub. The establishment has changed their decor since the last time I visited. What was once a dark and simple lounge has become a trendy, updated restaurant.

Lobster Raviolinis with crushed red pepper corn and white wine beurre blanc. The portion was huge for an appetizer and not what I pictured “raviolinis” to be. Nicely done Lux; however, the skins of the pasta were way too thick and doughy. The sauce was nice but it lacked depth in flavor.

Second Course – Double thick pork chop with grilled apple demi, crumbled blue cheese, grilled veggies and smashed potatoes. Again, this portion was really nice, I couldn’t finish it. The pork chop was quite tender as well.
