Six Acres is not necessarily a hidden gem but it feels like one. I like how it’s cozy interior and cute atmosphere provides a little comfortable nook accompanied with food and drink. I liken it to the feeling of sleeping in with the sound of falling rainoutside.

Jenn and I came by for a quick dinner before heading out to a film festival. In the midst of our eating, we both just stopped talking and ended up eavesdropping on a couple sitting only one feet away from our table. Yes, not only does Jenn share in my love of food, but the art of silently listening to other people =)
Gorgonzola Hot Pot – Gorgonzola cheese & Roasted Garlic dip with warm bread. In my mind I thought I was going to get a savory fondue of sorts. Though what we enjoyed instead was something almost like a thicken mushroom soup.

I must admit, their desserts on sub-par in comparison to the savory items and the extensive list of beer.
Six Acres is a charming stop for after work drink and snacks. The atmosphere alone is warm and pleasing, and there’s never enough reasons to enjoy the lovely pleasure that is sharing food.
